An important ingredient in our recipe for a successful week is the venue that will host our in-person sessions. This year, we have two fantastic hosts that will open their doors to communications professionals during Communications Week 2015.
On Tuesday, October 20th, we’ll convene at Civic Hall, a one-of-a-kind community center for the world’s civic innovators. Located in the heart of New York City at 156 5th Ave, the space is home to social entrepreneurs, change-makers, government employees, hackers, academics, journalists, and artists.
Our hosts explain, “Civic Hall is a hub for people who share core beliefs and values. It’s a place for collaboration and networking, for building and problem solving, for sharing information, building tools, and solving problems … together.”
On Thursday and Friday, October 22nd and 23rd, CommsWeek will head downtown to LMHQ (Lower Manhattan HQ) at 150 Broadway. Created by the Downtown Alliance and designed by Gensler, LMHQ is a ‘collaboration space for creatives and creators.’
“LMHQ is a new kind of working environment,” our hosts explain. “We provide state of the art facilities, event and workspaces, programming by NY Tech Meetup and NY Tech Council, and other great features that help companies come together to collaborate, activate and accelerate their growth.”
Both venues were designed for networking and facilitating interpersonal connections … which makes them both perfect for CommsWeek 2015! We’re looking forward to seeing you soon!
