The nature of the workplace is changing fast – driven in no small part by the changing attitudes and expectations of young people entering the jobs market for the first time. Within PR and communications, we’ve seen many examples of agencies driving internal transformation and cultural overhaul in order to make their workplaces fit-for-the-future. But are we getting it right, and where is greater progress still required if we are to attract, motivate and retain the next generation of talent?

In this panel discussion, we’ll cover some of the key talent management questions facing our industry over the next decade and beyond, including:

  • Social purpose – how important will demonstrating your social purpose be in motivating future talent, and how will this affect which clients agencies take on?

  • Retention – from increasing entrepreneurship and freelancing to the move from career ladder to jungle gym, how should agencies be looking to retain young talent?

  • How will the spiraling cost of living – particularly in our biggest cities – impact the look and feel of the next gen PR agency?

  • Are agile, borderless, office-less agencies the way of the future? And how likely are we to see future generations of PR talent working four-day weeks?
